Generally:

The project is currently on programme and progress on site has been assisted by the recent spell of dry weather. Site morale and commitment is high and all trades are working well together. We have an average workforce of 15 tradesmen working for 4 subconrtactors and no accidents or incidents have been reported.

External Progress:

Timber roof trusses have begun to be erected over the main roof forming apartments 11-16.

The construction of the car park retaining wall continues with the section forming the stairs to the gardens starting this week. The dwarf wall to the front of apartments 1-6 has been constructed with much of the facing stonework completed.

Internal Progress:

Apartments 9,8,3,2 internal non load bearing wall framing has been constructed.

With the arrival on site of the Mechanical and Electrical engineers ventilation ductwork has commenced to apartments 9,8,5,4,3. Soil and vent pipes have been installed to apartments 1-6 and the electrical back boxes have been fitted to apartments 9 and 8.

Comment for the coming week:

Next week the under-floor heating installation will commence in readiness for floor screeding to apartments 7-10.
