Generally:
The project is currently on programme. Site morale and commitment is high and all trades are working well
together. We have an average workforce of 29 tradesmen working for 7 subcontractors and no accidents or
incidents have been reported.
External Progress:
The roof construction is 75% complete with roof slating well underway. The external stonework and blockwork walls
have commenced and the render will be applied within the next 2 weeks. Work to form the southern car park has
started as has the forming of the lower garden reduced levels.
Internal Progress:
The under-floor heating installation has been completed in apartments 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9 and 10. Floor screed
has been laid in apartments 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10 and apartments 2, 8 and 9 have received plasterboard and
insulation to form the partition walls.
Electrical first fix has been completed in apartments 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 12A and 14. The Nibe heating units
have been delivered to site and located into many of the apartments in readiness for installation
The staircases have been fitted in apartments 2, 3, 4 and 5 along with the main central staircase in the communal
areas.
The coming weeks:
Work will continue on the completion of the roof coverings and externally on the forming of the southern car
park. Internally the dry-lining of masonry walls to apartments 2, 8 and 9 will commence.
Underfloor heating installation will start in units 6,12A, and 14.
